Feed the Hungry

St. Thomas’ parishioners participate in and provide links for us to the many community outreach opportunities listed here. Several even serve in leadership roles in these various organizations!

If you see something that piques your interest, please contact the individuals listed. They would love to share their passions with you, and hopefully help you find a meaningful way to engage as well. And if you have an opportunity you would like to bring to the attention of the parish, let us know that as well!

A soup kitchen based at Christ Episcopal Church in downtown Rochester at which St. Thomas' parishioners volunteer on the first Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m.

Brighton Food Cupboard

Aug - Oct 2020 IMMEDIATE NEEDS are for CANNED FRUIT, CANNED VEGETABLES (try for low salt, & TOMATO SAUCE (small to regular size) ITEMS also NEEDED during COVID-19 crisis are Healthy Snacks & Cereal & everything THE BFC ASKS THAT ALL DONATIONS BE DROPPED RIGHT OUTSIDE THEIR CENTER. The Brighton Food Cupboard is open Mon-Fri 9 AM - noon.  Donations are to be dropped off on their cart just outside the BFC location at 220 Idlewood Rd. in Brighton. Take Evans Lane off Westfall Rd to get there. On the near side of the building facing the loop, you will see the BFC sign. Experiencing food insecurity? Call BFC at 585-736-4526.
